With over 28 years of experience in product development, I lead teams at Extron Electronics focused on creating innovative solutions for the professional AV industry. I also enjoy helping AV and IT professionals understand the technologies behind AV systems through training, speaking, writing, and technical content. I currently oversee product development across a broad portfolio of AV technologies, including AV over IP (AVoIP) platforms, H.264 and H.265 streaming systems, video processors, scalers, and videowall processors. My responsibilities also include audio products such as DSP, amplifiers, and loudspeakers, as well as previously working on Extron’s signal transport platforms, including XTP and FOX fiber systems.
